Based on the Nokia 5230 XpressMusic, it's a super cool music phone that shares the same design and scratch-resistant touchscreen with the Nokia 5800. Unlike the Nokia 5800, there is no Wi-FI support with the Nokia 5230V, and the camera resolution has been reduced to 2 megapixels, yet it can still record VGA video at 30 frames per second.
